Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous pen body which satisfy soft writing touch rich in elastic feeling and durability and is suitable for a writing or coating tool which makes various inks, coating liq., cosmetic liq., etc., flow out and a method for preparing it.
SOLUTION: The titled porous pen body is constituted of an outer shell part 2 molded with a void vol. in a range of approximately 40-85% by fusing mutual contact points of a powder 4 with a mean particle diameter of 50-300 μm made of an ultrahigh mol.wt. polyethylene with an average mol.wt. of approximately 2,500,000-5,000,000 and an induction core 3 arranged at the center of the outer shell part 2. It is obtd. by filling the above described powder in a mold with a space for a specified shape and molding it by heating.
