Abstract:
To make effective use of a function of a porous plate having hydrophilic nature, and to provide a porous plate having water repellency only on its surface, a manufacturing method for it and a fuel cell using the porous plate.
The porous plate comprises: a porous base 20 having a framework section 22 representing a three-dimensional network structure with holes being in communication with each other; and a water-repellent layer 25 formed on a surface of the porous base 20, in which the porous base 20 has a surface portion 24 around an opening 23 of the hole 21 facing a surface of the base, and the water-repellent layer 25 is formed on the surface portion 24 of the porous base 20.
