Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:A porphyrin derivative shown by formula I (Rf is perfluoroalkyl).

EXAMPLE: 7, 12-Bis(1-trifluoroacetoxyethyl)3, 8, 13, 17-tetramethyl-2-1H, 23H-por phine-2,18-dipropionic acid.

USE: A drug useful for diagnosing and remedying cancers. The titled compound has both photosensitive actions and affinity for cancerous cells and distribution of this compound in tissue of organism by using nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum.

PREPARATION: 7, 12-Bis(1-hydroxyethyl)-3, 8, 13, 17-tetramethyl-21H, 23H- porphine-2, 18-dipropionic acid shown by formula II is acylated with a carboxylic acid anhydride shown by formula (RfCO)2O to give a porphyrin derivative shown by formula I.
