To provide port loading/unloading equipment capable of releasing grip force of a device for preventing runaway in case of a gust for preventing the runaway of the port loading/unloading equipment so as to prevent the floating of a wheel in the event of an earthquake, and to provide a seismic isolation method thereof.
A seismic isolation connection of a rail clamp 20 that grips a traveling rail R and prevents runaway at least when a seismic isolation crane stops travelling, and a sill beam of the seismic isolation crane, includes: a sill beam column 14 joined with the sill beam 3; and an extensible link mechanism 15 consisting of a first extensible arm 11 and a second extensible arm 12. The sill beam column 14 is held at a neutral position CP by a hydraulic cylinder 30 that fixes the extensible link mechanism 15, and, in the event of an earthquake, the extensible link mechanism 15 expands or contracts in a travelling direction so that the sill beam column 14 reciprocates in an x direction according to amplitude of the earthquake.
