Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a stable rated voltage regardless of a fluctuation in a load capacity, and reduce a size and a cost of a device.
SOLUTION: A portable auto transformer is provided with a voltage converting circuit 4 comprising a transformer TR connected to a low-voltage contact T1 and a high-voltage contact T2, a rectifying circuit 5 comprising a diode D1, a smoothing circuit 6 comprising an electrolytic capacitor C1, an integrator circuit comprising resistors R1, R2 and an electrolytic capacitor C4, a relay driving circuit 7 comprising a transistor Q1 and a relay coil RY, an input voltage detecting circuit 10 comprising a zener diode ZD2 and a thyristor (SCR), a first display 11 comprising a low-voltage light emitting diode LED1 for emitting a light at a DC voltage for actuating the relay driving circuit 7, and a second display 12 comprising a high-voltage light emitting diode LED2 for emitting a light at a DC voltage for actuating the input voltage detecting circuit 10. If an input voltage from a commercial power supply is a reference voltage or more, the relay driving circuit 7 is deactivated, and a connection of a tap T to the high-voltage contact T2 is maintained.
