The portable band saw machine comprises: a motor; a housing; a drive saw wheel provided on one end of the housing and driven by rotative force of the motor; a driven saw wheel provided on the other end of the housing; and a band saw blade passing between the drive saw wheel and the driven saw wheel, and driven in a circular motion by the drive saw wheel. A deformable wire is provided on the one end of the housing.
