Abstract:
To prevent malfunction of a tension adjustment mechanism in a usage state of a portable band saw, in the portable band saw including the tension adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting tension of an endless belt-like band saw blade.SOLUTION: In a portable band saw which includes a tension adjustment mechanism 100 capable of adjusting tension of an endless belt-like band saw blade, wheel support shafts 21b are provided in a pair of wheel support parts 21a(110) respectively so as to be in parallel with each other. The one wheel support part 21a(110) is movable in a linear direction orthogonal to both wheel support shafts 21b. A first support part 121 is provided in one end part of the wheel support part 21a(110), a second support part 131 is provided in the other end part, and an intermediate support part 140 is provided between the first support part 121 and the support part 131. The second support part 131 and the intermediate support part 140 are in parallel with the wheel support shafts 21b, and are applied with loads F1, F2 in directions opposite to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
