To provide a small-size and portable biotoilet suppressing malodor generated by mixing feces with urine, improving degradation efficiency by independently treating the feces and the urine respectively, reducing the weight of the device and being used for a long period of time.

Major parts of this toilet comprises a toilet seat, an urine recovery vessel, a microbial degradation tank, a water content outlet, and a water content recovery vessel; at the same time of the excretion, the feces is recovered in the microbial degradation tank and microbially degraded; the urine is collected in the water content recovery vessel via the urine recovery vessel and disposed; and the water content discharged from the microbial degradation vessel is collected in the water content recovery vessel and disposed. This constitution can thus separate the feces from the urine simultaneously with the excretion so as to suppress the malodor generated by chemical change by mixing of the feces with the urine. The solid substances and the water content are separately disposed so as to reduce the amount of artificial soil necessary for biodegradation and improve the degradation efficiency. The treatment of the solid substances alone, which does not include a large quantity of water, can extremely reduce the weight of the agitation target. As a result, an agitating means with high energy efficiency such as manual agitating method and a vibration agitation method can be effectively performed.
