Abstract:
To provide a portable type cable length measurement/cutting tool capable of mitigating a burden on a worker and improving his/her work efficiency without requiring different tools for a plurality of pieces of independent work.SOLUTION: When a laser light transmission/reception unit 21 performs non-contact measurement of a distance to a designated location according to user operation, a measured laser length measurement value is stored as a cable length set value. When a cable CA passed through a cable through-hole 13 and a cable length measurement part 14 is extracted and moved, it is determined whether or not a cable length measurement value measured via the cable length measurement part 14 reaches the stored cable length set value. When the cable length measurement value reaches the cable length set value, alarm sound is output from a sound reporting part 22. When a cut button 23c is pressed down at the same time as a safety trigger 20 is pressed down, a cable cutter 18 is spread to cut the cable CA, which makes it possible to obtain a cable CA having a length corresponding to the cable length set value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
