To make it possible to emit hydrogen gas such that liquid hydrogen is vaporized in a ship side low temperature tank, to atmosphere from equipment other than a ship while loading liquid hydrogen from a land side low temperature tank to the ship side low temperature tank.SOLUTION: Portable cargo handling equipment 3 for liquid hydrogen transfers liquid hydrogen accumulated in a land side low temperature tank 10 to a ship side low temperature tank 20, and comprises: a liquid hydrogen piping 50 having a first joint 52b which can be connected to an end part of a ship side liquid pipe 21 extending from the ship side low temperature tank and a second joint 53b which can be connected to an end part of a land side liquid pipe 11 extending from the land side low temperature tank; a first emergency withdrawal device 71 which is provided in the liquid hydrogen piping; a hydrogen gas piping 60 having a third joint 62b which can be connected to an end part of a ship side gas pipe 22 extending from the ship side low temperature tank; a second emergency withdrawal device 81 provided in the liquid hydrogen piping; and a vent piping 100 of which one end is connected to the hydrogen gas piping and the other end is opened to the atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
