Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly discharge saw dust by providing a protrusion part for narrowing a gap between the inner wall of a saw cover and a saw blade on a part of the saw cover and thereby forming the curved surface of the inner wall with a small radius forward of the protrusion part, compared to the radius of the saw blade.
SOLUTION: A protrusion part 8 for making a gap between the inner wall, on the outer peripheral direction side of a saw blade 2, of a saw cover 1 and the saw blade 2 small, is provided on a part of the saw cover 1. In addition, a projecting part 6, with which oncoming saw dust collides, is formed on the protrusion part 8. Thus the curved surface of the inner wall of the saw cover 1 forward of the protrusion part 8 is formed with a smaller radius than the radius of the saw blade 2, and therefore, the angle of the projecting part 6 with the inner wall of the saw cover 1 is increased. Consequently, the saw dust is guided to the base 7 side by the projecting part 6 to be discharged, so that the saw dust is prevented from being discharged near the rear lower part of the body. At the same time, scattering of the saw dust running into the projection part 6 over a broad area in the saw blade 2 side direction is inhibited.
