PURPOSE: To provide a portable computer provided with a freely attachable/ detachable battery pack, to which the battery pack can be connected to a system mainbody with strong integration which can be easily and surely attached/ detached, and also in which the assembling work of attachable/detachable structure can be executed easily.
CONSTITUTION: A projecting part 10 is provided at the rear part of the system mainbody 2 and the recessed part 11 on the front surface side of the battery pack 4 in the portable computer 1, the projecting part 10 is engaged with the recessed part 11 and the two parts are connected by a freely attachable/ detachable first hinge structure consisting of a rotary electrode 20 and a rotary connector 40, etc., and a freely attachable/detachable second hinge structure consisting of a hinge shaft 60 and a hinge 80, etc. An open/close door, which shields the first and second hinge structure part so as to prevent the falling of the rotary electrode 20 and the hinge shaft 60 and also to support the weight of the battery pack 4, may be provided.
