Abstract:
To provide a portable cone penetration test method in consideration of peripheral surface frictions of a rod.
In the portable cone penetration test method for penetrating a penetration rod 4 formed having a cone 4b at a distal end of a rod 4a at a fixed speed in a non-rotation state, and measuring penetration resistance when arriving at a measurement depth, after the penetration rod 4 is tentatively rotated before reaching the measurement depth, the penetration resistance when arriving at the measurement depth is measured. With the portable cone penetration test method, by removing sand stuck to a peripheral surface of the rod 4a and eliminating the peripheral surface friction, the penetration resistance of the cone is accurately detected.
