This portable cooking stove for outdoor use is composed of a mounting device 1 comprising a rectangular frame 2 on which a metal mesh body 3 is stretched, wind receiving plates 5 crossing each other to support the mounting device 1, an angular cone-shaped windshield cylinder 10 assembled above the mounting device 1, and a mounting plate 13 stretched on an upper surface aperture part 10B of the windshield cylinder 10. Pine cones or twigs are put inside the windshield cylinder 10 to be burnt for cooking, air flows between the mounting device 1 and an installation surface by existence of the wind receiving plates 5, and air shielded by the wind receiving plates 5 goes through the mesh body 3 on the mounting device 1 to get into the windshield cylinder 10, so combustion flames rise along the windshield cylinder 10 inclined in a tapered form to generate draft force, thereby strong heating power can be provided.
