Abstract:
To improve durability while maintaining transparency of a dust collecting box 11.
In a portable cutter wherein the top of a surface plate 2 keeping an opening 4 which allows a saw blade 3 for cutting to pass therethrough is provided with a dust collecting box 11 of transparent synthetic resin for collecting chips flown at the time of cutting is provided to cover the periphery of the saw blade 3, as a through hole. Metal protectors 16 and 17 are attached to the inner peripheral wall of the dust collecting box 11, and the tip of the saw blade 3 can be seen through from the inside wall of the dust collecting box 11.
