Abstract:
To provide a portable cutting machine capable of easily switching the presence of soft-start in accordance with the application.
The portable cutting machine 1 includes a motor 7, a saw blade 6 driven by the motor to cut a workpiece, a saw cover 5 covering the saw blade, a base 2 rotatably supporting the saw cover and having an opening formed therein for projecting the saw blade, and a soft-starter for soft-starting the rotation of the motor. The soft-starter is automatically started in response to an initial operation of a user.
