Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable cutting machine that can be placed stably without bringing a saw blade side into contact with a placing surface.SOLUTION: A handle soft member 33 is mounted to the outer face of a handle 30 to be held by an operator, and housing soft members 28A, 28B are mounted to upper and lower positions on the outer face of a motor storage part 22 so as to protrude to the left side. The handle soft member 33 is formed integrally from a connection portion of the rear end part of the handle 30 and a housing 20 until the periphery of a battery holding part 27. Thus, the handle soft member 33 and a housing soft member 28C are integrated. According to the above configuration, by grounding the housing soft members 28A, 28B, 28C, a cutting machine 1 can be placed onto a flat ground stably.
