Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutting machine, the operability of the trigger switch of which is improved by preventing the fingertips of an operator from touching the guide member when the operator operates the trigger switch of the handle.SOLUTION: A cutting depth adjusting mechanism 40 of a portable cutting machine 10 according to the present invention includes: a connection part 54j which connects the front end part of a cutting machine body 20 to a base 13 in the state of being vertically rotatable; a guide member 43 which is an arc-shaped member for guiding the cutting machine body 20 to be vertically moved rotationally, and the lower end part of which is connected to the rear part of the base 13; and a guide lock mechanism 45 which can fix the cutting machine body 20 to the guide member 43 or release the fixing. In the state that the cutting machine body 20 is fixed to the vicinity of the lower end part of the guide member 43 by the guide lock mechanism 45, the upper end part of the guide member 43 is disposed behind a trigger switch 232 of a handle part 230.
