Abstract:
To prevent attachment compactness and weight balance from being deteriorated due to increase in size of a battery pack and secure sufficient strength to increase of the weight of the battery pack, for example, in a case where a portable cutting machine, which is so-called a rear handle saw with a handle portion extending rearward is configured such that a battery pack as a power supply is attached on the opposite side of a cutting tool with respect to the handle portion.SOLUTION: A battery attachment portion 30 includes an attachment surface in a standing direction with respect to a base 2. A battery pack 31S is attached and detached slidably in an up-down direction with respect to the attachment surface. The attached battery pack 31S is disposed to extend from a right region to a left region with respect to the center in the width of a handle portion 40. An attachment space defined by a front wall portion 34 and a rear wall portion 35 is opened in a direction away from the cutting tool. Thus, a second battery pack having a large size and a large weight can be attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
