Abstract:
In a portable electric circular saw (11) (portable cutting tool) including a cutting tool body (2) having a motor serving as a driving source and a saw blade (4) (cutting tool) driven to rotate by the motor and a base (1) guiding the cutting tool body (2) along a surface of a material (P) to be cut, and allowing a parallel ruler (12) to be mounted on the base (1), guide bars (13,14) respectively inserted through insertion holes (15,16) formed in the base (1) are provided with a dust guard (21) that can slide parallel to an end face of the saw blade (4) and can abut against the end face of the saw blade (4).
