Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electric cutting tool favorable in workability capable of easily carrying out work to adjust a beam to either one of side surfaces of a knife edge part.
SOLUTION: In this electric cutter having a main body with an electric motor built in it, a saw blade 2 held on the main body and driven to be free to revolve by the electric motor serving as its motive power, a saw cover 3 provided on the main body and formed in a shape to cover a part of the saw blade 2, a base 1 mounted on the main body, having an opening part free to project a part of the saw blade downward and free to slide on an upper surface of a material to be cut 6 at the time of cutting work, and a beam irradiation device 4 free to apply the beam on an extension in the cutting direction of the saw blade 2, the beam irradiation device 4 is disposed in the rear in the cutting direction of the tangential direction H with respect to an intersection point G where an outer periphery of the saw blade 2 and a bottom surface of the base 1 cross with each other, the beam 5 can be applied to the rear in the cutting direction of the intersection point G, and the beam irradiation device 5 is made free to move in parallel in the direction of the axis of rotation of the saw blade 2.
