Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device with a display function capable of prohibiting the acceptance of an erroneous operation while a section boundary moves.SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 includes a display area capable of displaying one or more images corresponding to respective functions, and comprises: a liquid crystal panel 3 for displaying a section boundary which is capable of moving from a first side to a second side in the display area and sections the display area into a first display area and a second display area; a touch panel 4 for accepting a first user input for changing the position of the section boundary and a second user input for initiating the function corresponding to an image; and a CPU which is capable of moving the section boundary to a new position in the display area in response to the first user input, and executes none of the functions while the section boundary moves on at least one of the one or more images.
