PURPOSE: To prevent the use of an electronic equipment by displaying that the using conditions of the equipment are not adapted to the available environmental range, the storage/transport environmental conditions, etc., which are defined in a portable electronic equipment device.

CONSTITUTION: A portable electronic equipment device is provide with a sensor part 11 which detects the temperature, the humidity, etc., on the surface and the periphery of the device, an operating environment deciding part 12 which compares the detected value of the part 11 with the value set by the operating environment of the device and decides the using propriety of the device, a display part 15 which shows a fact that an unusable state is decided for the device and also shows a restoring action for operation of the device, and a device control part 13 which stops the operation of the corresponding function part 14 when the unusable state of the device is decided and then cancels the stoppage of operation of the part 14 when the restoring action is carried out for operation of the device.
