To provide a portable electronic mail terminal with which the operation of user can be simplified when transmitting/receiving electronic mail.
A radio communication part 101 receives the mail, a mail command decode executing part 104 decodes the contents of the mail and determines display contents, and a display part 103 displays these contents. When the user performs input operation according to that display and that input shows a schedule notebook call, according to that input, the mail command decode executing part 104 designates the year, month, day and time to a schedule managing part 102 and instructs the part 102 to display schedule corresponding to that designation. Thus, the schedule on the designated date in the mail is displayed on the display part 103.
