Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the portability of an endoscope and to automatically stop the driving of a pump for sending air or a liquid.
SOLUTION: A unit side attaching mechanism 210 having an air and liquid- sending cap 220, a cap 230 for an electric connector, and a push button 270 is provided on the side surface of a unit body 80. An operation part attaching mechanism 211 having an air and water-sending cap 250, a cap 260 for an electric connector, and a pressure part 280 is provided on the side surface of an operation part 12. When the unit body 80 is attached to the operation part 12, the pressure pin of the pressure part 280 pushes the push button 270 to bring a switch SWA into a closed state and a drive current is supplied to an air sending pump 82 and the LED provided at the leading end of the insertion part of a scope from a battery 83. When an air and water-sending unit 15 is detached from the operation part 12, the push button 270 is released from the pressure from the push pin and the switch SWA becomes to an open state to automatically stop the air sending pump 82.
