PURPOSE: To enhance the dustproof and mothproof effects while stored when the garment bag to carry by folding is stored by hanging in the stretched condition.

CONSTITUTION: A fastener 56 to open and close the opening 55 for taking garment in and out is attached to the main body 54 formed in a bag, shape with the front sheet 52 and the back sheet 53 and, at the lower section of the main body 54, a maintenance sheet 60 in the folded condition is provided with its free opening 61 made across the main body 54. A cover section 1 in the stretched condition is provided at the lower end of the front sheet 52 continuously and when the bag is stored by hanging, said cover section 1 hangs from outside over the opening 61 of the maintenance sheet 60 in the folded condition. At the time of folding, said cover 1 is inserted inside the maintainance sheet 60.
