PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assuredly fix tripod pieces at the closed position of the tripod pieces and firmly support a pan or the like by freely engaging the tripod pieces in the closed position with longitudinal grooves on the upper end part of a wind screen cover in the side of a burner, preventing the rotation of the tripod pieces in the closed position and supporting the tripod pieces by the wind screen cover.
SOLUTION: A wind screen cover 12 is located at the side of a gas burner 1. Tripod pieces 11 are vertically movable and urged downward by a spring member 17. Longitudinal grooves 13 are formed on the upper end parts of the wind screen cover 12 and the tripod pieces 11 in their closed position are freely engaged with the grooves 13. In the closed position, the rotation of the tripod pieces 11 is prevented and the tripod pieces 11 are supported by the wind screen cover 12. Then, the tripod pieces 11 are raised against the spring member 17 to disengage the tripod pieces 11 from the longitudinal grooves 13 of the wind screen cover 12 and make the tripod pieces 11 rotatable in their closed position. In the closed position, the vibration of the tripod pieces 11 is prevented by the longitudinal grooves 13 of the wind screen cover 12 and the spring member 17 so that the pan or the like is stably supported.
