Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an output voltage from changing when a load is increased, in a small-sized portable generator which generates a single phase AC voltage by PWM control.
SOLUTION: In this portable generator 100, an AC voltage generated by an AC generator 50 is rectified by a DC voltage generating circuit 110 using a thyristor, and charges a DC power source part 120, and a DC output voltage of the DC power source part 120 is outputted as a single phase AC voltage by an inverter circuit 130. Control is so performed that the DC voltage of the DC power source part 120 is made almost constant by detecting a voltage of the DC power source part 120 and controlling the angle of flow of the thyristor 111 of the DC voltage generating circuit 110. A constant voltage control part 500 is installed and performs control to quicken the electric continuity start of the thyristor 111 when a current flowing in the inverter circuit 130 increases.
