PURPOSE: To obtain the image of high image quality at low cost by conveying an electrified photoconductor where image information is recorded by an optical reading means to a transfer means by a conveying means and printing on the surface of paper.
CONSTITUTION: The photoconductor 12 is electrified by an electrostatic charger 11 and conveyed by the conveying means 9 to be guided to a reading part. Then a latent image is formed on the photoconductor 12 by exposed by an encoder 8a and an image-formation system in the recording part and toner is applied to the latent image by a toner supply roller 21 to obtain a visible image. The conveyed photoconductor 12 reaches the part of a thermal transfer roll 15, where the recorded image is thermally transferred on the surface of paper. Namely, the image is not recorded in a semiconductor memory, so that the low cost can be attained and the information is recorded as analog information, so that the image of high image quality can be formed.
