Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate carrying work by enabling a portable industrial robot to be positioned in its conveying attitude easily without performing an inching operation, wherein the robot is used to serve as what being carried into a job site by manpower and what being mounted on a slider.

CONSTITUTION: A conveying handle 17 is installed in a lower arm 2 constituting an industrial robot 1, while there is provided a storage part 18 which prestores positioning data corresponding to a conveying attitude of the robot 1, and at the time of conveying this robot 1 by the conveying handle 17, the industrial robot 1 is positioned to the conveying attitude on the basis of the positioning data in the storage part 18.
