Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information device capable of making opening and closing control for a cover to have a feeling of identification with very few unevenness for a main body when cover for covering display section of the main body makes opening and closing control.
SOLUTION: This device is equipment with a main body 12 having a display section 18 for displaying information, a cover 14 for covering the display section 18 of the main body 12 and a joint device 16 for rotating the cover 14 to move when the display section 18 is used. The joint device 16 is equipped with a rotary section 30 having a rotatable circular section with a first fulcrum 34 provided on the end face on the main body 12 side as the center, a projection 32 is provided on the circumferential surface 40 of the rotary section 30, and the end 26 of the cover 14 is connected to a second fulcrum 36 located at the projection 32 in a rotatable manner.
