Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a method for notifying a user of necessary information, such as a set time alarm, incoming telephone call, or mail reception, according to the mounted state of portable information equipment on the housing part.
SOLUTION: This portable information equipment is provided with a detection means (21) for detecting the mounted state of portable information equipment on the housing part, a deciding means (22) for deciding a method for notifying the user of necessary items, based on the mounted state of the portable information equipment on the housing part which is detected by the detection means, and notifying means (23-29) for notifying the user of the necessary items, according to the notifying method decided by the deciding means.
