To provide a portable information terminal equipment for easily understandably expressing the map data of itself, an opposite party and a destination on a map as easily utilizable information and mutually communicating the position data along with voice.
A GPS reception part 3 receives radio waves from a GPS satellite 2 and conversion to a coordinate axis on the map is performed by using a map data base 5 in a position data generation part 4. The coordinate is transmitted to a map generation part 7 so as to generate the map and also to a data synthesis part 10 so as to perform transmission to a communicating party, synthesized with the voice inputted by a microphone 1 and transmitted by a communication part 6. For the data received by the communication part 6, voice data are outputted to a speaker 9 and position coordinate data are outputted to the map generation part 7 in a data separation part 11. The prepared map is outputted by a display device. In this equipment, communication by the voice is performed and simultaneously the position information of the opposite party is received while transmitting the position information of itself.
