Abstract:
To suppress increase of time required for reading an optical reading code.SOLUTION: A portable information terminal 2 has an image generating unit 25 for generating an image having optical reading codes 10 disposed therein and read by a gate apparatus 3, a display unit 24 for displaying an image on a screen 200 of a display unit 20, and a detection unit 23 for detecting a direction of the screen 200 of the display unit 20. The image generating unit 25 generates an image having the optical reading codes 10 disposed at different display positions in response to elapse of time while the detecting unit 23 detects that the screen 200 of the display unit 20 faces a direction opposing to a reading region 320 of the gate apparatus 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
