Abstract:
An apparatus for detecting portable isothermal amplification is disclosed. The apparatus of the present invention includes a display unit; a thermal block comprising a body made of a thermal conductive material, a first heater inserted into the body to heat the body, a plurality of mounting holes formed in the body to respectively mount a plurality of sample tubes, and a plurality of optical paths communicating with each of the plurality of mounting holes on each side of the body (the plurality of optical paths and the plurality of mounting holes form a plurality of channels); a plurality of light source units disposed on one side of the thermal block and each irradiating light to the plurality of sample tubes mounted in the plurality of mounting holes through the optical path; a plurality of light receiving units disposed on the other side of the thermal block and each receiving light transmitted through the plurality of sample tubes mounted in the plurality of mounting holes through the optical path; and a control unit for detecting whether a sample accommodated in the plurality of sample tubes is infected from the amount of change in data for each of the plurality of channels generated based on signals received from the plurality of light receiving units.
