Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the title device small and light and to obtain sufficient portability by constituting it in such a way that a picture signal which is obtained by means of scanning an original is once stored in a storage part as picture data and is read in time of need and detaching a scanner part and a printer part. CONSTITUTION:The picture reading and storing device 1 is taken in a hand and the side of a picture reading part 3 is placed on an original P, whereby the original P is traced. A picture signal processing part 22 quantizes the inputted picture signal at an adequate sampling period, converts it into a digital signal and stores it in the storage part 23. A control part 24 reads the picture signal from the storage part 23 and displays and outputs it to a picture display part 15 as a picture. For outputting said picture signal as a hard copy, the picture reading and storing device 1 is inserted into the socket part 31 of an input output interface device 30. The picture signal is read and transferred to a picture output device 40 by the read instruction from the picture output device 40. Consequently, the device can be furthermore made small and light since it does not conventionally include the printer part.
