To provide a portable radio equipment which adjusts a ground condition of a ground type antenna by adjusting a physical dimension of a radio equipment ground electrically and sends/receives efficiently in a wide frequency band by lowering a standing-wave ratio.
The portable radio equipment (1) has a radio circuit (30), an antenna body (52), and an antenna feeding end portion (54); connects one terminal of the antenna feeding end (54) to the ground type antenna (50) regarded as an antenna feeding ground end (54A) and the radio circuit (30); transmits a high-frequency signal by a first center conductor (42); and has a feeding line (40) to connect a first external conductor (44) to the radio equipment ground, an isolation circuit (60) between the antenna feeding end (54) and the feeding line (40), and a ground matching circuit (70) to adjust the ground condition between the antenna feeding ground end (54A) and the radio equipment ground for the radio equipment ground.
