PURPOSE: To realize a high gain and a high stability, to reduce a damage of an antenna element, and to improve the external appearance of the titled radio equipment by providing a dipole antenna consisting of an internal antenna and an external antenna contained in a casing of the portable radio equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A flexible external antenna element 3 is fixed so as to pass through on a casing and constituted so as to be connected to a transmitting and receiving circuit 2 through a balloon 5. The balloon 5 is used for both the matching of the impedance of said transmitting and receiving circuit 2 and both the antenna elements 3, 4, and the conversion of balance/unbalance. The interval antenna element 4 is provided on the almost same straight line as the external antenna element 3, and its length is roughly equal to the maximum length of the external antenna element 3. In this regard, as for the internal antenna element 4, a metallic rod or that which has a printed pattern will do.
