To cancel the trouble for requesting a third person to make a call to a portable radio machine which a user possesses when it is necessary to leave his seat without making a reason for leaving his seat clear during a conference.

The portable radio machine is provided with a reception control part 12 receiving a call signal from a radio base station and a calling sound output part 13 generating calling sound (c) from the reception control part 12 with a calling sound request signal (a). A pseudo calling sound starting switch 21 and a timer circuit 22 which is started by means of the on-operation of the pseudo calling sound starting switch 21 and transmits a calling sound request signal (e) to the calling sound output part 13 after prescribed time passes are provided. Then, a pseudo calling sound (f) is generated after prescribed time passes by executing an on-operation if need.
