PURPOSE: To provide the portable radiotelephone set in which fingers gripping the telephone set are not in contact with a cheek of the user and further miniaturization is attained when a speaker section is brought to a position facing an ear of the user while holding a microphone section at a position facing a mouth of the user.
CONSTITUTION: The telephone set main body 6 is provided with a speaker section 8 supported turnably by a 1st hinge section 7 and with a microphone section 10 supported turnably by a 2nd hinge section 9. Then a 1st turning restriction section restricts the turning of the speaker section 8 over a prescribed range in a prescribed direction and a 2nd turning restriction section restricts the turning of the microphone section 10 over a prescribed range in a prescribed direction. Thus, in the usage of the telephone set, when the turning of the speaker section and the microphone section is implemented in a prescribed direction, the turning over a prescribed range is restricted by each turning restriction section and the speaker section and the microphone section are positioned to an optimum position.
