PURPOSE: To bring a portable refrigerant gas recovery device to a site conveniently so as to recover refrigerant by a method wherein a portable truck is provided with a compressor for compressing refrigerant gas, a condensor for condensing the compressed refrigerant gas and a refrigerant gas recovery device having a refrigerant separator for extracting only the refrigerant.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor 4 is mounted on a truck 1. A gas extracting tank 5 and an oil separator 6 are mounted at a right side and a left side, and a motor 9 is mounted on a frame 8 supported by a supporting column 7. A condensor 12 is disposed between handles 11. The condensor 12 and a fan 13 fixed to a shaft of the motor 9 are oppositely arranged. Refrigerant gas is fed from either an air conditioner or a freezer through a refrigerant gas inlet valve 17 into a compressor 4 and compressed there, the refrigerant gas passes through the oil separator 6 and a three-way valve 30 and is fed into the condensor 12. The refrigerant is liquefied by the condensor 12 and fed into an extracting tank. The gas extracting tank separates refrigerant, water, non-condensed gas from the refrigerant liquid, discharges non- condensed gas from an outlet port 26 of the gas extracting tank, extracts water through a water discharging valve 18. The recovered refrigerant liquid is fed out through a refrigerant return valve 19 and then the liquid is applied to its reuse. The oil separator 6 extracts oil from the compressed refrigerant gas and returns it to the compressor 4.
