Abstract:

To perform a proper electrical insulation simply and inexpensively as much as possible without carrying out an expensive structural change with respect to an existing rescue tool.

The portable rescue tool comprises a header part for supporting a longitudinal housing and a tool bit and at least one grip. The rescue tool 1 is surrounded by a flexible insulating hose 2 along at least one part of a longitudinal shaft. The hose is extended to the operating range of tool halves 6 and 7 and an electrical insulating cover cap 8 is provided in an end part on the opposite side thereto.
