Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the mislaying preventing function by sending a monitor signal at an intermediate frequency band from a slave set, allowing the main body to monitors sometimes the monitor signal, detecting a distance between the main body and the slave set through the reduced reception level and sounding a ring tone from a speaker for warning.
CONSTITUTION: The radio equipment is made up of a main body 12 and a slave set 13 being a separate unit. The slave set 13 sends a monitor signal PIF at an intermediate frequency band from its antenna 19. A changeover section receives a signal at the intermediate frequency band and the monitor signal PIF received by an antenna 15 and they are periodically switched by a control signal C1 from a control section 6A and outputted to an IF amplifier section, a multiplier converts them into a base band signal and it is fed to the control section 6A. The control section 6A checks a level of the received signal when the received signal results from the monitor signal PIF converted into the base band. When the level is less than a prescribed level, it is discriminated that the slave 13 is part from the main body 12 and a speaker 8 sounds a warning.
