To provide an easily usable portable spot welder, being lightweight as being carriable by being put in a bag, and capable of also executing spot welding anywhere, by using a power source battery and a capacitor, without using a transformer.
The portable spot welder has a booster circuit for boosting power source voltage with the battery as a power source, and executes welding via a welding current to a work sandwiched by a pair of welding points, by instantaneously discharging electric charge stored in the capacitor by a switching element, and the pair of welding points are provided on the welder body side, and at least one welding point is formed as a movable welding point 15 capable of contacting-separating to the other welding point, and a pressurizing mechanism 17 is provided for pressurizing the movable welding point 15 to the work in a state of sandwiching the work by the one movable welding point 15 and the other welding point 16.
