The portable telephone has an acceleration sensor 115 for detecting the magnitude and direction of acceleration applied to the portable telephone, a moving state determining part 116 for determining the moving/stopping of the portable telephone on the basis of the magnitude and direction of the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor 115, and an incoming call notification control part 117 for limiting incoming call notification when the moving state determining part 116 determines that the portable telephone is moving, and after that, releasing the limitation of the incoming call notification when the moving state determining part 116 determines that the portable telephone stops.
