Abstract:
To provide a portable telephone set for displaying an image when a melody is ringed.
Trigger data TA, TB, TC and TD are time sequentially embedded in melody data α in accordance with a time base t. When the trigger data TA is detected during ringing of a melody corresponding to the melody data α, an image PA corresponding to the trigger data TA is displayed. After this, when the trigger data TB, TC and TD are similarly detected, corresponding images PB, PC and PC are displayed.
