Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the operability of a retractable antenna and to prevent the generation of its damage or loss.
CONSTITUTION: This portable telephone set 5 is provided with a call switch 1 for switching the ON/OFF of a call start to an internal circuit part 10, a retractable antenna 3 for transmitting/receiving radio communication waves and a sliding mechanism part 2 for automatically moving the antenna 3 whose leading part 31 is stored in a casing 51 when the switch 1 is in the OFF state from the surface 52 of the casing 51 to the outside up to previously determined length while sliding it when the switch 1 is in the ON state.
