To provide a portable terminal which can support childbirth preparation of a pregnant woman after the start of labor pains.

The portable terminal comprises an input means for receiving inputs of the start and end of labor pains by user operation, a communication means for transmitting the information about a pregnant woman to a first terminal or a second terminal, a determination means for determining whether or not the labor pains of the pregnant woman is normal based on the start and end of labor pains received by the input means, and a control means for transmitting the information about a pregnant woman to the first terminal by a communication means when a determination is made, by the determination means, that the labor pains of the pregnant woman is normal, otherwise transmitting the information about a pregnant woman to the second terminal by a communication means.
