Abstract:

To improve the usability of an information processing system using an IC tag, and to construct the information processing system using the IC tag at low cost.

This portable terminal device comprises: a reader/writer device electromagnetically coupled with the IC tag to perform transfer of information; a portable information processor processing the information transferred between the reader/writer device and the IC tag; and a wireless communication device connecting the portable information processor to a business support server via a wireless line. Therefore, the system wherein communication with the business support server is performed while accessing the IC tag in a state that the IC tag is fixedly disposed and that the reader/writer device is moved can be constructed.
