Abstract:
To activate a navigation function for a vehicle without performing special key operation such as menu selecting operation.
A CPU 11 detects whether or not a device body has been brought into an automobile based on whether or not the device body has been connected to a hands-free apparatus 7 fitted in the automobile and whether or not an automobile engine start-up sound has been detected by a sound microphone 18. In cases where the device body has been brought into the automobile, a navigation function for automobile supporting is selectively activated.
